I saw this photo on the Internet today and I was wondering if anybody could share their experience with this new (at least to me) LPL Cologne-Fougere?

Greatly appreciated,
Alex

I find the LPL soaps exceptionally good for my skin and was lucky to try nine variations. Only one did not work for me because of the scent of Coconut. The other eight are among my most favorite veggie/vegan soaps.

Once I saw this picture, I did a bit of the web search and I found an online retailer that sells this soap! Already Smile ordered a 200gr container and hope to receive it in the next week or so! However, I am still very interested to learn about your experience with this soap if you happened to try it.

Cheers,
Alex

LPL is the best French soap I've tried, to include MdC.

I agree that LPL is better than MDC.

I own 6 LPL's and 2 MDC's, and to me LPL perform better than MDC.

Just received a container of the LPL Cologne - Fougere and had my first shave with it. Performance-wise it is as excellent as any LPL soap.

Scent is more complex IMO than all previous versions. The moment I opened the container I felt a subtle Fougere smell, which was very nicely complemented by a rather pronounced lavender accord. While shaving, the scent was stable and after rinsing I could smell a very well articulated rose note. From nine different LPLs that I own, this soap would be my fourth favorite scent-wise after cedar-patchouli, apricot, and rose.

All in all I liked this iteration a LOT!

I have one coming across the pond as we speak, but it was just added to a popular online store out of California.

Good news indeed, though the price on that popular site is significantly higher, even considering the shipment cost across the pond...

I guess I'm the only one that has been burned out on fougère. At least you won't have to compete with me when ordering these new soaps. Y'all enjoy!

I believe they have a 10% discount going on, not 100% sure. I ordered mine overseas, but the price was not much different from € to $.
