Los Jabones De Joserra

TommyCarioca  hw does that one smell?  Its the only one thats available at Top of The Chain that I haven't got...yet.  The scent notes didn't do it for me.  I know...I can't normally make a connection between the listed scent notes or almost any soap and what they actually wind up smelling like to my nose.

This! Especially soaps as complex as theirs. It's a (expensive) crapshoot without a local store. I've been on the verge of trying Greedo, as it sounds sweet and dessert like... But you never know.

That settles it... We NEED more local shaving stores.

I think sweet and dessert like is a good description. If I was sticking my pinky finger out I’d call it gourmand. It’s got duck fat in it too to make it even nicer. I just got a package with a Gredos aftershave in it.

I have that one already. It is nice. I never looked closely at the ingredients. I guess it’s up next.

I have Viriato and quite enjoy it - to the point that its almost gone.  I tried RODRIGO DE JEREZ but had to sell it as it didn't agree with my skin.

What scent is recommended for me to try next?  More Viriato?  Something else?  Vetiver and Patchouli elements would be good.

More is always good. Black Rose is nice also Blas de Lezo. I’m biased. I like them all. Viriato is great.

I had to google Spanish for “duck” to try to better understand the ingredients list. El pato. So if I see “pato “ on the ingredients list then I’ll know it has some duck fat in it

So now that I know what duck is in Spanish I've found that several of these soaps contain duck fat although Gredos has the duck fat listed sooner in the ingredients list so I'm thinking maybe it has more - I'll post a list of all the ones that I have that contain duck fat soon. 

Used Charmer this morning. It’s a nice sort of nondescript (barbershop) scent with some duck fat in it. 

I’m getting great results with these Soaps, the lather I get is just outstanding. I’m really enjoying the scents as well. My first use of the Alcohol Splash, leaves my skin feeling great and good scent strength, great way to finish up the shave. I wish the splashes were easier to come bye.
