Looking for brush recommendations

I use 2 brushes which l believe to be insufficient. One is a big floppy and scratchy boar brush and the other is a small decent synthetic that has a tiny handle that l cannot get the hang out of it.

So I decided to spend up to 50 euros to buy a decent and functional brush preferably of badges or synthetic bristles with a 22-24m knot.

Any advice, recommendations or help will be greatly appreciated

I dunno conversion of euros but a custom brush from one of the artisans should fit you're budget. For badger if you want good backbone no flop go with a 2 band. A semogue 2 band probably has the most backbone of any brush I've ever tried but to be soft they take a bit to break in. For your budget I'd still say go with custom with a tgn 2 band to stay on the cheap side.

The Semogue 2 band looks like a nice brush and l only read positive reviews about it. My only concern would be the wooden handle. Its over what l want to pay for a new brush but l may stretch my budget and go for it

I'm still open to other option though.

There are a bunch Nathan Clark Brad sears Rudy vey Peter wolf Matt deruiter and so on. I dunno how many of them are here since the forum is new but some of them have etsy shops. Nathan Clark I think is envy shave. Brad sears is bradsearshaveworks.com I think. Rudy vey is ultimatependesigns  Peter wolf is wolfwhiskers and I don't remember Matta etsy but I can find it.

Someone suggested a Simpson Colonel 2X Best. Does anyone have experience with this brush? I read mixed reviews about it.

The Semogue SOC handle will last a lifetime. Just keep the handle dry when not using it. It's a great brush.

Maybe if you are in  the US its good deal, for us in the rest of the world the shipping cost is 41$. Thats outrageous.

I know some will not like this but, I went to synthetics I have a semogue that kills my lather for some reason, can't get 3 passes out of it don't know what's the deal with that boar, I have a couple floppy scritchy badgers that are ok bit scratchy. I went to plisson and recently acquired the omega s, I have been using these almost exclusively, they work, and they feel great on the face can't go wrong with that.

I'm not against synthetics. I own one and love the syntgetic bristles, the reason l don't use it is its small handle.
