I too love the smell and feel of Aqua Velva but for me, it is gone in about 15 minutes.  Just another example,of YMMV in the wet shaving world.  I wish it lasted long on me as it does on you.

Same scent.  8-10 hours.

I'm going to give this a go... Although the last time I did so was based on someone's assertion cold spices was the same scent as classic old spice.  I can tell you it's not even close.  After my grandfather died, we pulled seven bottles of old spice out of his bathroom as pure as the original recipe gets.... Cold spices smells nothing like vintage old spice.  Albeit I like cold spices very Much Smile

I like AS that starts fairly strong and then moderates within the hour to a nice subtle, hint of scent throughout the day. Its the same as scent on a woman - I don't want to get flattened by the stench truck I prefer when you catch a slight hint of something that engages you in that what was that? Did I even really smell that? What was it? Mysterious and exotic.

That said, I really like all of the B&M aftershaves but if you're looking for one with staying power I'd have to say B&M Roam ticks that box. If you like the PAA aftershaves, The Beach has great staying power and smells great, like the beach.

Found this an interesting thread, and wouldn’t mind seeing even more responses. At the moment, I’m really enjoying RazoRock’s Tuscan Oud “after shaving splash,” as they call it. To me it’s just a great scent, and one where a little goes quite a long way. I can easily smell it over 20 hours after application.

PAA and Stirling Soap's aftershave last a long good while.

Also, Stirling's Ozark mountain scent balm lasts super long and I can still get small wiffs of it after 12 hours after I put it on.

Beaverwoodright's AS splash "Captain's Pipe" is long lasting. 12hrs easy on me.

Stirling's AS, PAA, and B&M get my vote also.

I agree on the Chatillon Lux's lasting power.
Another powerhouse is Brut Special Reserve, and Arymis English Leather lasts a long time as well.

All of the Chatillon Lux toners/aftershaves, Barrister & Mann Leviathan / Night Music / LGC , Captain's Choice Bay Rum and Cat O'Nine Tails, HTGAM/PAA The Beach, Bay Rum (both alcohol and alcohol free).

The challenge is to find something that lasts through most of the day but isn't overwhelming for the first few hours. For me, its nice to catch a hint of the aftershave throughout the day rather than be heavy with the fragrance. Someone at a social distance should get a mere impression of fragrance that they're not even sure they smelled. The full scent should be restricted to those you allow much closer.
