Lisa's New Artisan Soap

Her new scent Yulin is out of this world and smells almost exactly like the discontinued Phoenix & Beau Citra Royale of which I had a sample a few years back. It is IMO her best scent out of five I have smelled. Buy w/o hesitation. 

Here's her description:

Mentholated. The scent is fresh, sweet, woody and earthy. It is an essential oil blend of patchouli, cedarwood, eucalyptus, and spearmint.

It is not an overwhelming menthol, more eucalyptus/spearmint. Buy a sample first.

Lisa's now has a new herbal shave soap, apparently a reformulation of the base line. They're available over at The Razor Company, too (where I first saw it). I grabbed a tub of the French Vanilla Oak. Excited to see how it compares to the original (my favorite of hers).

I have a couple of them. They great.

Lisa’s Natural in my opinion is a brand not often mentioned on here and her products definitely deserve some love.  I’ve had a few of her old base shave soaps and I’ve bought her bar soaps as well.  I just picked up her new premium base in Tobacco & Bay and what a great scent. To me it’s kind of a light citrusy/fruity tobacco that has a bit of a tropical vibe to it and the overall performance on the shave soap is excellent. Picked up a few of her bar soaps as I really enjoy them. 

Lisa and I have become friends over the last year and in fact her and I spent over an hour on the phone last week and not only is she a very talented creative personal care products maker but she’s a real class act of a person. Kind, knowledgeable, funny and thoughtful and I could add a few more in there! She and I share a lot of the same beliefs when it comes to the products we make and I have a lot of respect and admiration for her. 

I’m happy to see this post updated. 

In fact I just got my new shave soap in the mail and she sent a sample of her Hemp Face cream in the same scent I really like it combined with my Unscented Replenish Hyaluronic acid serum layered together. No tackiness or coated feeling which I very much dislike so I’ll have to order a full sized one. 

Had an awesome shave this morning with the set up you see below. 

Due to this post I just had to order a tub. Since she is located just north of me, one day delivery. Got a tub of Paradox. Great scent. Used it tonight and was super impressed with the slickness and post shave feel. Will definitely add to my rotation.
