Mystic waters is very good too. Something I think I'll always have and in multiple scents too. I LOVE Michelle's floral scents.

... But sometimes it's just too finicky and I want a grab and go tub.

I know what you mean. I have tried MW before and I do appreciate the scents, but for me (and I mean for me) I find it difficult to produce a consistent lather. When I got it right, it was a wonderful product, and when I didn't it wasn't pretty. As a primarily SR user, I need easy to reproduce results whether at 3 in the afternoon, or bleary eyed at 3:45 in the morning.

BTW, I used my Catie's Bubbles today (the luxury cream soaps) and it was a wonderful shave. Slick, cushioning and a dream to build lather with. I've never used Catie's before and have no idea how these two compare to their regular soaps but these are a winner in my book!

Artisan would be B & M , no doubt about it. If mass produced, I'd pick king Tabac.

Its a tossup between Soap Commander and Reef Point. I love the scents, performance, and the customer service of both companies and cannot choose between them. Soap Commander gets the nod over Reef Point for the sheer value of product/price and Reef Point is the company I believe I have the most artisan soaps/balms/aftershaves from. Both are very very strong.

Barrister & Mann.

The scents are often not for me, and the ones that are for me are no longer in production, the soap quality is simply in a class of it's own, although I recently tried the new formulation of Sire Hare and I may have to put it in the B&M level of quality.

Barrister & Mann hands down! My all time favorite soap is Dickens limited.

Are you referring to the Vetiver Moderne? If you like that scent you might love a fragrance by Atelier Cologne. Vetiver Fatal it is called. Have you tried it? It has a similar mix of vetiver and plum.

Forgive me for eavesdropping... I adore Vetiver Moderne, and now I am in hot pursuit of AC Vetiver Fatal. Many thanks!

You're quite welcome Asafiev Smile. It's a different fragrance of course, but the vetiver/plum mix is there.
