Unfortunately two have gone under as well. I never got to try Strop Shoppe or Tim's. (Tim's had lanolin so probably couldn't.) I think there was another who went out of business, but I cannot remember the name. I'm not sure what causes some to fail and some to thrive.
Another that I hope will make it is Henri et Victoria. They are good.

I generally don't, because there are so many I haven't tried that come highly recommended from serious shavers. I will and have tried a couple from local craft fair type events, and have been generally disappointed. It may even be that I am spoiled by all of the great soaps out there, I don't know. Always enjoying the hunt.

Another is Van Yulay, which is very good and makes two soaps sold on Shaving Shop Online. Her other products are only available on her site, which charges a blanket $18 for shipping, which just isn't practical.
This is not true. It says flat rate of $17.80 before you input any shipping info. If you click on the "calculate shipping" link and input your info, it will give you other shipping options. For example, to test it I just put a couple samples in my cart and calculated the shipping. For "first class", it came out to $0.68. That's the lowest shipping cost I've ever seen.

I'm always up for new artisan products. For some reason I just discovered @"Sapone Di Paolo" recently and he's just a few minutes from me. Just picked up a couple more soaps today. Really solid performing product and great prices too.
People seem to really like K Shave Works as well. I tried two soaps and they both burned me sadly but it was me not them. Great scents and great performance but I just could not use them. They have great customer service too.
