I received a gift today and I couldn't be any happier. I have been hoping to receive this for a while. Nice lemon cologne to go with my B&M Latha. Awesome cologne. [Image: B1pCkbh.jpg]

I hope to hear how you enjoy the Barrister & Mann Latha. I have their Cheshire (lovely citrus fragrance with gorgeous lather) and their Lavanille (strong leather and tobacco scent -- it's growing on me). I am interested to try the Seville soap, and some of the other Latha scents.

The Latha is perfect. The lemon scent is perfect, if not subdued to others out there. But thats OK. It lathers up like a beast and doesnt disappear before I put the razor to my face. I was actually posting the C.O.Bigalow Lemon cologne as I wanted it to match with my lemon B&M. I have some recently purchase Vitos ASL that is citrus also so now I can tie all 3 together.

The cologne is lemon for about an hour, then the lemon dissipates and there is a sweet vanilla/slight powder scent that stays the rest of the day. I didnt expect it to change so much, but its in a good way. I am tickled to death that I have it now.

Sounds terrific. There is a real lacking, IMO, of quality citrus soaps on the market.

Very true. Although my teeth arent falling out yet, I really do believe in scurvy prevention. More citrus soaps, more vitamin c for the world to enjoy!

big fan of the latha limon as well.

I also very much enjoy citrus soaps as well. I absolutely love Mike's orange, cedarwood and black pepper!

Congrats on a nice scent addition! I’ve had that Nº 1999 EdP for a few years, and it’s a very pleasing scent. Also, it’s unisex — just a great all-round product to have around!

Matsilainen , I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one to have it on the forum. When I see churchilllafemme and CHSeifert and Barrister_N_Mann talk in French terms I never heard of, I get lost in the conversation. I think its cool Bigelow made a simple scent that a scent simpleton like me can understand Smile

I dig it!

Bigelow makes some pretty fine stuff, actually. Elixir Black was my go-to fragrance when I was younger and I still wear it every so often. Glad you're digging the Lemon (and the soap, too!).

I’m with you! I’m not very good at describing scents. (I need to study churchilllafemme’s thread more: https://damnfineshave.com/thread-fragrance-terms)

But this Bigelow scent is just nice, fresh, fairly simple (although I feel there’s slightly more going on there than just a lemon scent) and goes well in a variety of situations. Glad that you posted about it! Smile
