Another great shave with the Athena this morning. I ended up with some post shave irritation after the last shave. A fresh blade, lighter pressure, and making sure to not over shave soap free areas completely fixed the issue.

I ordered mine in early Feb. Just received word that it is in the USA now. So another 2 weeks? Anxious to get her home

I must have gotten lucky. It sat in customs for a week or two then made it to me relatively quickly.

Have you been using the razor much? Thoughts on it after using for a while?

Mine got used for a few weeks. Then I started grabbing the Sailor again.

I’m getting along real well with this razor. Paired with a med prep I get 2 pass bbs shaves. I just got back from vaca and took down 5 days of growth with ease and no clogging issues. I prefer a sure grip for my quick daily shaves so the sailor only sees action on the weekends.

Picked up this tibam set off bst recently and it’s been a perfect pairing.

Valid points all. I think I will look to see if one of my spare Wolfman handles in mirror bronze would fit the Ares. I assume it would. Should look good too. Although I am not big on mix matching parts, that combo doesn't seem to trigger my retentive sphincter.
