Excellent shave today with La Savonniere du Moulin soap!
I don’t reach for this soap as often as I should.
Truly superb and luxurious!!

Excellent Slickness, scent and especially post shave.
Packaging, see below, is just simple…I just smooshed mine into an extra tub.

La Savonniere du Moulin Isn’t available everywhere.
I think I got mine from the English Shaving Company…

  • Donkey milk shavng soap

  • Made with 30% fresh organic donkey milk

  • Made with the farm's own honey

  • Enriched with Bach flower

  • 99% natural ingredients

  • Minimum of 42% organic ingredients

  • Fragrant & delicate scent

  • Never tested on animals

  • 100g of soap in rustic light wood packaging

The only shaving soap to be made with 30% organic fresh donkey milk. Enriched with honey from the farm's own apiary. Created with love,  La Savonniere du Moulin Shaving Soap creates a creamy foam and soft caress for the face. A unique and charming shaving experience! Once the soap has been opened and wet, do not replace the lid - the soap will remain good for one year.
Life at the Mill is beautiful and serene. At Moulin de Chantraine, the animals have all the space they desire. Mother and son duo Laurence & Mathieu look after their 11 donkeys across five hectares of land.
Donkey milk contains numerous vitamins, trace elements, phospholipids, essential fatty acids, amd ceramides, giving anti-ageing, softening, and nourishing properties. Donkey milk is a natural tensor for the skin; it is said that it was donkey milk baths that Cleopatra, Poppaea and Nefertiti used to maintain their beauty and youth.

Uhh…hello!
The soap would stink badly if it was tested on animals!
Imagine opening a new soap after it had been tested on, say, a dairy cow?
Or hey!  A trout?

Yeah.  It does make you wonder what they do test the soap on though.
They say that the best cigars are rolled…oh never mind, off topic.

It is not that firms test as a soap would be properly used but rather that they almost intentionally torture the animals by misusing the products in ways nobody would ever imagine. There a special Hell for animal testing labs and 'scientists'.
