I am waiting on my first tub of L&L to arrive and am really looking forward to it. I have read that this is a very soft soap and was wondering about cure time. Without divulging too much about your process Scott can you provide some insight into how your premium Bison soap is cured? A few days...a month? Will the product lose volume in the tub over time if unused? Thanks and looking forward to my soap!

I have the aftershave and EdT of Unconditional Surrender already and love the scent, so I couldn't resist!
I also grabbed "Harmony" shaving soap in bison tallow, because that was one I wanted and since it's been discontinued, this was my last chance. I ended up with free shipping by adding the 2nd soap, too! I'm really looking forward to trying this soap base that so many of you here at DFS have been raving about!
FYI, I just checked on my order and found that both of these soaps are sold out. I'm glad I jumped on these right at 13:00 EST! I have a tracking number already! Quick service!
That's great. I'm sure you'll love the soap. It's good stuff.
Thanks, Shawn!
USPS tracking says that my soap should be delivered tomorrow, and since I normally shave at night, it looks like tomorrow night's shave will be all "Unconditional Surrender:" soap, aftershave, and EdT. I can't wait! Now, as long as the USPS doesn't let me down... I do realize that they already slowed down the process of getting this soap made, but I'm still holding out for a prompt and safe delivery tomorrow!
Surely the law of averages says they won't screw us around with the soap, right?
I've got my fingers crossed, ha

Hey Marcos -
I typically cure it for a few days. It will lose weight over time as water evaporates, but all that is being lost is water - the same amount of soap remains. I fill each tub with 4.2-4.3oz to counteract this as much as possible

Thanks for the reply Scott. I used the unscented soap today for the first time and it was fantastic. Shot right to the top of my rotation. I appreciate you making this unscented offering available and hope you keep it in the lineup. I appreciate any artisan that has an unscented offering since people that can't do scents don't have as many options as others. This soap had a texture and slickness when lathered unlike any other I've tried. Thank you!

No problem, glad you enjoyed it! I'll definitely be keeping unscented as a permanent option, so no need to worry
Wow... a barbershop scent and alcohol based splashes. Looking forward to March 21st!
