Well...I got the bevel set...passed the wobble test,  fingernail test, grape test, and easily was shaving hair off my arm.  It also looks fine under the loupe.  It had never been touched by a stone, and there were no real issues, so it wasn’t too difficult.  Now lapping and finishing the second jasper stone was a bear.  I am going to test it out tomorrow with this razor.

Oh my gosh that is so cool to see the pictures of the progression. Good on you for taking your time to work the edge. Can't wait to hear how the shave goes. Cheers!

Thanks Zack!

I don’t know how a 70+ year old razor travels across countries, decades, and oceans without ever being honed or used, but I will be happy to give it a whirl later today!

Such a tool needs to be used and enjoyed!

Well...the Kron Vest Gran Mogol delivered in every way!  This edge off of the second Ancient Ocean Jasper was every bit as sharp as a razor finished with CrOX, but it was smoother and much more tolerable.  I did have just a touch of redness on my cheek, but no big deal...overall beautiful shave!

This KVGM might become one of my best/favorite shavers!
