I found these while grocery this evening. At 4.29 I couldn't pull the trigger, but has anyone else tried them?

They look like the same DE blades I've seen in my local 99¢ Only Store, here in San Diego. Are they made in Israel? (It might say in the back.) My guess is they are Personna blades.

Round sided=Personna
Straight (but corrugated for grip) sided=Dorco

These same 2 basic designs are found in countless different packaging. Regardless of the blister wrap packaging, the razor box points to one of the two makers above.

4.29 is quite the mark-up for Personna blades!

Jason, keep in mind we're talking about Kroger.  I would imagine they would be as expensive, or even more, at a place like Walgreens or CVS.  Also, for someone needing blades in a hurry, $4.29 (43 cents per blade) for 10 blades will seem like a  steal compared to the four Fusion cartridge blister pack hanging right next to them.

Having said that, assuming they are the same blades as I can easily pick up in my local dollar store then, yup, they are way overpriced. Even if the dollar store blades are in tucks of 5 instead of 10, that's still less than 50% the cost of getting them at Kroger.

I vote for Personnas, and far from their best.  See below.

Israeli-made Personnas. Okay blades but not worth $4-$5 unless you need a blade in a hurry.

I agree with the person above me about the price of these blades.

And I was amazed to see that the Kroger picture was 981 Kb.

That's a lot of Kb.

981kb for a photo is nothing compared to what most photos are sized at today. I have a photo sitting on my desktop that's over 29mb.
