Charred a NY Strip and some cabbage with salt and olive oil.
And some Fall weather. Love it. [Image: 5dcb0f0470a23fd6b1ba5023d9ff2616.jpg][Image: bb95bd253a2df640213cdd0142b78ecf.jpg][Image: 80f03497f4641363ea717f948580d095.jpg][Image: 2e652d0c3ac9f83eccb6e8aba4b2ca0c.jpg]

Oh man, it was amazing!

I pan seared a 4 lb Chuck Roast for about 2 mins on each side then added to the Crockpot on "low".

Dumped all this on top of the roast:

- 1 Spicy Ranch seasoning packet and 1 Lipton Onion seasoning packet.
- Shitshato Peppers (rather than Pepperoncinis)
- 1/2 Stick of butter (you seriously don't need a full stick like in the video)
- 1/2 of a red onion

Let it go low and slow for about 9 hours. It just fell apart at the end and was loaded with flavor. Can't wait to do this one again!

Here’s a pic after added everything to the crockpot:

Lookin' good guys!

I have a NY strip tonight too, and a fried broccoli recipe I've been wanting to try.

Both were pretty good. Not enough meat but I'm trying to cut back. I'm trying to get the majority of my plate to be veggies and not being terribly successful at it.

Here's the broccoli recipe.

I hear ya. Just do what you can, that's all you can do! Don't sweat the veggie amounts.

You're already better off than 99.5% of the population by avoiding grains, fruits and processed garbage.

Speaking of broccoli, this got pushed to me today. I subscribe to this channel and his main one which has all the info I use for keto and fasting.

Doing the big Crockpot Chuck Roast again today!

It's been a huge hit at our house and is ridiculously easy to make.

This time I'm adding mini sweet peppers, carrots, potatoes (for the non-keto eaters), and fresh garlic.

like last time, we're rolling with 1/2 stick of butter, 1 Ranch packet, 1 Lipton Beefy Onion packet.
