Thanks to Mr_Konrad_Dundee for help with plate selection.

After 1st shave with E plate and usual 3 passes I can say much better as Overlander for me. Very similar smooth and easy shave, but much better efficiency.  Very pleasent blade feel helps me to keep right angle and not so many strokes needed as with Overlander. Can't wait to try SB-G plate

Beautiful! I have both plates and they are both great. I have said many times the SB-E is the perfect storm for me. Smoothness, comfort, efficiency. It is my go to Karve plate. I also have the OC-G plate and I was scared of it at first. I was surprised how smooth it was given the stats on paper. Not a rough shave at all and the blade feel was not at all overwhelming like I thought it might be.

Well, that sucks. I was kind of excited about trying to pick up a stainless steel Christopher Bradley somewhere in the near future with a Wagner handle. I wonder if this will affect RazoRock products as well. I was also looking to pick up one of their superslant razors. However, I was just on the site earlier today and I didn't see any mention of tariffs.

The Aluminum Karve shows as $105 USD plus shipping, now. If there's a 25% tariff and they reopen US sales, we're talking $131 (plus shipping). Sheesh. On the higher end, $187 plus shipping for a Stainless steel OL... So almost $234, after the Tariffs. Ouch!

I used to feel bad for the British and they're (I think it's called) VAT. Now it's their turn to pity us. I'm so glad I have a backup OL secured.

I wonder if we're going to see prices of blades shoot up, too? Mine are South Korean... Not sure we have a tariff on them, yet.

First shave with G plate today.

I did usual 3 passes with Perma-Sharp blade and that was great shave. I was surprised how smooth Christopher Bradley remain with G plate. This combination is definitely keeper for me and I'm happy to discover it later but better as never.
