Here is another Karve DE Razoe that I have done for DFS member in Premium Finish Happy2

  • WideBody Top Cap 
  • Original Open Tab - Top Cap

Finish is to another level as I take highest Quality of muslin Wheels for finnal finish and that Magic Touch of Shine..

AlanH81, this is incredible work. You've taken a very nice looking razor and turned it into a work of art. I'd really like to learn how this is done. Any tips for how I can get started? What tools do you use, and how did you learn your technique?

My Karve SS razor is matte finished. The photos make me wish I had spent extra for polished. They are gorgeous.

Not sure what you mean by spending extra for polished?
There is no polished option from Karve. This was polished by AlanH81 for another DFS member.

There is no polished option from Karve. This was polished by AlanH81 for another DFS member.

They did sell a polished version that was a horrendous mistake for Chris and most people never received their razors because the process took so long with many broken promises!! To date I believe there are about 10 polished razors that actually made it out of the factory.

Since Chris and Alan are both from Canada, I assumed there was some relationship there. I have an electric buffer and a variety of abrasives. I could attempt to do the job myself, but I will have to get motivated.

I personally don’t know Chris from Karve Shaving and no relationship here at all lol wish there was..
