Baseplates were shipped from Canada yesterday and in hand here in Colorado today. DHL Express is pretty darn fast.

It was a good one to start off the Triple A event with. I have a few of the Aventus style soap scents in combination with the after shave splashes to accompany them. My favorite for its scent profile & performance is from Ethos Grooming. It’s a very close interpretation to the infamous fragrance elixir with a bit more citrus on the top (pineapple & bergamot) combined with a soft woods and musk trailing Behind. A great combination once one begins to start building the lather. Performance is as good if not better than the best offerings out there in the artisan shave soap community. Finished it off with nothing other than The King itself, Aventus…

Ethos Succes soap & splash, Zenith 27mm Badger, Karve Copper, Gillette 7 O’Clock Yellow, Aventus edp.

When you think about it, that really signifies nothing at all.  Big Grin

Hoping our brothers and community members who were on the waitlist get their invoices soon!

Well since no one else mentioned it, anyone jump on the new Knopf pommel aluminum Karve? It seems that the colors offered may be expanding

Just a real smooth & easy shave with the Karve D. Nothing fancy or innovative except that it is wonderfully made and engineered. Not as attention grabbing as some of the more well known razor makers but, it shaves as good as anyone you want to name and for a real fair price. It competes with the RR Lupo & Gamechanger series of razors pound for pound in price, performance & function. Yeah, brass patinas and it stinks which bothers a few. So does poop when you get rid of it and you carry that around all day. The nerve.  Winking

Great shaves to all….

Karve Copper in the E OC plate. Very smooth yet very effective cutting that yielded a BBS finish in an efficient 2.5 pass shave. Paired it with a Gillette Minora blade that has been a pleasant surprise showing good sharpness and a smooth feel. In all actuality, the Karve has proven to be an excellent shaver with nearly every blade I’ve installed in it. A testament to the outstanding geometry of the razor and its superb stability/rigidity and how it supports the blade. One of the best in the business.

Great shaves to all….
