I have every Karve, perk of them being local. I have to agree that E is the best balance of smoothness and efficiency

The Karve Copper. Shaves just as good as the Brass version (the only other alloy model that I own from Karve). It is just a superbly crafted safety razor. Without question, it’s the smoothest threaded stud to handle action I’ve ever experienced. CB/Karve has their business & sales issues that I have no care in explaining nor the time to dissect on what has gone wrong in the past to present for this razor maker. One thing is for certain though and I say it without any reservations whatsoever. This is a world class produced razor that not only competes but, also hangs side by side with the best artisan razor producers (Blackland, Timeless, Wolfman, Rocnel, ATT, HomelikeShaving and yes, Razorock plus a few others) here & abroad. It’s not a jewel like production as in a Wolfman which is on another level in terms of finish but, in terms of craftsmanship, quality, shave performance and price value it’s an elite level product, hands down. Truthfully, I never thought that I would buy another Karve product ever or at least until he got his business end of the deal up to a decent level of consumer respectability in the wet shave domain. For certain, I am a hypocrite for when I saw this model advertised for the April Fool’s Promo, I was enticed by this creation and Karve with this Copper offering had seduced me all over again. I kicked myself in the ass for being so spineless and again reached out to Chris at Karve via emails and made my inquiry. Unbeknownst to you all, I dreaded that fateful evening when I asked for my specific requirements in the Copper set up. I knew that I would have to walk down the aisle if shame in front of my shaving Brothers who saw my posts that were literal verbal lashings concerning this artisan. When I hit send in the last email notification, I was doomed. Out came the Macallan 12 and I poured a three finger measure, twice. I says to meself “damn it Self, you’ll be ridiculed, lambasted and shunned over your weakness & ineptitude”.

That’s what I thought before the 2 glasses of the single malt whisky. I was at ease with my decision afterwards. And today, I have no regrets after this morning’s shave. I said “to hell with them”  with clenched teeth and a shit eating grin as I endlessly continued to stroke my fresh and clean shaven mug.

Thank goodness for Macallan 12……

Really? I thought they were in stock. Well, I should say I assumed they were in stock according to the Karve sales release. Hope your notified soon….

Thanks, Gus.
When I ordered the Aluminum razor back in 2019 it said they were in stock. Took weeks to ship but I did eventually get it.
