Anyone scoop up a copper? And get a shipping notice yet?

I was told these were not going to be a limited item and different plates and handle lengths will be available.

I also ordered the current kit on the 1st and have not received a shipping notification yet although they were claimed to be in stock at the time of order. We shall see.

Doesn't Karve discourage mixing the metals?

Dunno. Never heard either way. I can't see any good reason to avoid doing that if it's something you want to do. Plenty of folks use mixed metal razors.

I ordered on the 1st and am still waiting.  Thank goodness I have one or two razors that I can use in the meantime.

P.S., Got shipping notice on the 9th!  Yahoo!   Big Grin!

copper is an interesting choice as other artisans give the impression that it doesn't sell as well as other materials. Also not sure about bead blasted copper. Maybe it looks better in person.

For those interested in a good copper cleaning/polishing product I can recommend Calphalon “Radiance.”  Twelve bucks on Amazon for. 7 oz. container that will last for years.  It’s not abrasive, and works very well with little effort and no “scrubbing.”  It also seems provides some anti-tarnish protection, especially if you carefully dry the copper after each use.  Here’s what my CG Level 2 looks like after a very quick cleaning (and no photoshop editing):

It looks quite nice in person. The copper is now my favorite Karve to look at[Image: a0909294331b6a3d78573aa7c31d83ff.jpg]
