Karve Shaving Co. A new DE Brass razor to market.

It was easy to forget about it and be pleasantly surprised when the invoice came. I probably wouldn't have placed the order if there was a deposit due or if it was a pre sale. But this was the way to handle it. I was ok with whenever it came.

To err is human, to forgive divine.

He had some growing pains, but seems to have a business model that is working now.

Glad to see and hear it.

There are some real patient people waiting on these razors.... I guess you'd have to be when he can only produce 3 razors per month!!

That's some axe you have to grind. Set it aside for a couple months and see if recent changes @ karve take hold long term.

There's no axe to grind here as I've never bought anything from the guy nor will I ever!! He's the most dishonest mfg'r in the industry as he keeps making promises to people knowing full well he can't hit the deadlines and then hides and doesn't answer calls or emails from disgruntled customers... These razors along with the Titanium release was originally promised to be ready the end of May 2020....10 months ago!! What a joke!!

The criticism is fair but it gets old seeing the same post every other page. Feedback has been different the last couple months so let's see if that trend continues or karve reverts to business as usual.

I wonder if it’s just a one-off April Fool’s thing, like he did with the plastic razor a couple of years ago, or whether he’s going to include copper as part of the regular offerings...

No, it's the rel deal.  I still have it in my cart.  The only reason I haven't pulled the trigger is that the B & C plates would be useless in my case. If there were an E at least, I might have been hooked......

No, it's the rel deal.  I still have it in my cart.  The only reason I haven't pulled the trigger is that the B & C plates would be useless in my case. If there were an E at least, I might have been hooked......

Yes, it’s real. I just meant he did a similar thing with the plastic razor on April 1st a couple of years ago (made up to look like an April Fool’s, but it was a real thing...), and that was just a one-off issue

Just thinking out loud ... If all that stood between me and completing the order was the lack of an E plate I'd send Karve a message and request the copper E plate instead of the B/C plates. Since he's a one man band he might just accommodate you.

Just thinking out loud ... If all that stood between me and completing the order was the lack of an E plate I'd send Karve a message and request the copper E plate instead of the B/C plates. Since he's a one man band he might just accommodate you. 

Or sell off the two plates you don't want. Especially if it's going to be a one-time run, someone will scoop them up quickly. A mixed metal Karve would look pretty sweet too.
