Karve Shaving Co. A new DE Brass razor to market.

I have been on the aluminum wait list since May. I prefer heavier razors, but I am reluctant to order the stainless steel razor in light of all the fulfillment delays. Has anyone ordered and received a Karve Stainless Steel Razor recently?

Yes. Stainless steel razor with F-OC plate mid December. Shipped in about a week.

Ordered an additional E-OC plate at the end of December that shipped in 3 days.

Guys if you want to get a Karve Razor from West Coast Shaving they are in stock there now. I believe you can get the C, D, or the E plates for the SB in brass. Worth a look, I decided to get the C and figure if its too aggressive for some reason, I can get the A/B elsewhere but at least I will have the guts and the C plate in hand.

I’ve had two shaves with the brass SB C so far. Will update after a few more shaves but I’m really enjoying it. Very smooth razor right up my alley.

This would be an indication that individual sales aren't going very well directly from Karve along with not seeing very many new razors showing up in threads over the last 6 months!!

Maybe. Or maybe it’s tough for a one man operation to design, build, market, ship and receive etc.  The definition of multi-tasking is screwing up more than one thing at the same time. 

I have to admit that I admire James Dufour/Wolfman Razors “hermit” business model. I’m sure it’s helped keep him sane.

A way for him to convince people he actually has inventory to ship when ordered from WCS now since everyone is gun shy on believing him (with good reason) Should have done sooner......

Maybe WCS approached him and said: This is the best razor we have ever used, please let us sell it.

But really, there is no way for us to know what‘s going on behind the scenes.

I agree, Karve should have done this much sooner. But...... 

Maybe WCS approached him and said: This is the best razor we have ever used, please let us sell it.

But really, there is no way for us to know what‘s going on behind the scenes.
