They did a Instagram live a week or two ago. They are building up stock of brass and stainless to allow them to work on other things

They claim to have a large inventory of Al parts but are figuring out how to do the anodising in-house so could be a while. Ti razors are progressing slowly as the machining is tough going.

Jack is longer at Karve or working with Chris Kirchen.

Probably no more live Instagram‘s or eblasts as mentioned above. Great move for Karve going forward. That social media blitz was foolish to begin with.

Keep up the great work Chris. Karve’s quality speaks for itself.

As of when? Just curious as I’ve seen recent posts on Karve’s Instagram that are from Portland

Interesting comment. I’m curious how this is a great move for Karve going forward. Objectively speaking (and not just because he’s a friend of mine)

Jack was essentially 50% of the company; and was responsible for answering emails, social media advertisement, in addition to myriad of other things which takes up a lot of time...

Now that everything falls solely on Chris...Karve’s problems are going to be compounded.  I wouldn’t be surprised if the wait exceeds the current (10 Weeks, even though only four is stated on the website).

And As a company who hasn’t released a razor in 3-4 years, and is struggling to do the basics by simply fulfilling current orders, this just seems like another bad decision made by Karve.

If not Jack, Chris really needs more people to do more things, including Jacks previous role, or I don’t see Karve being a thing for much longer.

I think he sees how wolfman functions and says “hey, who needs social media if the product speaks for itself”. I never did see the value Jack provided as customers expectations or concerns were never well managed.

Either way, it should be interesting to see where they go.

Good luck getting any emails answered now. With respect Karve isn't Wolfman and I'm happy to wait as long as necessary for a new Wolfman razor. If he wants to take anything from the Wolfman model he can start by streamlining production and focusing on a single material.
