I believe there is another razor maker out of Canada that also makes titanium razors.

Hopefully things have changed, and you will get your razors in a reasonable time.  I’ve personally had my fill of Karve delays, (so I’m out) but on the pre- orders for others (rhymes with Tradere)!

Chances of getting one of those is slim. Who knows when he’ll next make them in titanium. Perhaps he’ll open his own waitlist soon. Fingers crossed.

I couldn’t agree more. In fact, I already said the same thing. See my post #1696 in this thread, where I said:

“Seriously, I really don’t understand the guys on here who are bitching about fulfillment delays, when they placed orders from Karve knowing full well of the company’s track record for order fulfillment. It reminds me of that saying, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Are people who are following this thread insane to still be ordering from Karve? Maybe not insane, but I do think they should forfeit their right to complain when things don’t go well.”

It’s a matter or principle and self-respect with me. I don’t care if the Ti razor was guaranteed to be hand delivered to my doorstep tomorrow morning. I’m not giving the guy any more of my business, regardless. Some of the folks here seem to be suffering from something of a battered wife syndrome. It doesn’t matter how badly they are treated....they keep going back for more.

After reading quite a few pages in this thread, I am very surprised that I have not once read anything positive about the pricing of Karve‘s razors. Apparently, that isn‘t as important as sending out orders immediately. Perhaps Chris should increase his prices to reduce demand and, et voila, everyone is happy.

Just for the record, here one positive customer experience. The site currently states a 3 week wait from ordering to delivery. I ordered a brass Karve with several baseplates that are now on their way after 3 weeks of waiting.

I also think that a waiting list is a step in the right direction. The other Canadian razor producer also does it and nobody slags him for it. And just because this might not be as good a razor still doesn‘t change the laws of supply and demand.

I am on the Ti wait list ... I think ... I didn't really get any kind of confirmation. I added it to my cart and it is there. Just has a total of $0.00 and that's it.

I emailed to be reassured that I'm 'in' , but I don't really know.

Was that everyone's experience with getting on the wait list ?

I tried that and got the same result. IOW ... just showed it in my cart with $0.00 

Anyway ... we'll probably never see them anyway ... AFAIK no one got a polished SS yet !
