Scentsless Shaver

the B safety bar is my go to most days. C plate is great, but in the past if I shaved too many days in a row, my face felt a little irritated. These folks using open comb f plates have me running for cover, ha ha! Most likely just my technique that is lacking when using D or higher. But B is perfection for a multi-pass shave. I recently added the wide cap and it made the shaving experience even more enjoyable!

Hope it come in fast for you and that you have some great shaves!

Interesting to see what plates others find effective. I dropped down to an E for the past two shaves. Like shaving with the Charcoal Lv 2, when I first tried an E I felt it wasn't aggressive enough, but in both cases, with the Lv 2, and with the E, I'm happy with them for a 36 hour growth, or less.

I think the trick, for me, is to make sure the blade is good and sharp. These Wizamets have been great using them for 3 shaves and tossing them. I could probably get more out of them, but I've go a lot of blades so ... why not go for the most comfort.

Does anyone know the difference in corrosion resistance between Grade 5 titanium and 303 / 316L Stainless?

That’s nice. How about fulfilling all the aluminum, brass, stainless and polished before offering this?

^^ Won't happen until/unless he's incentivized to do so.  From what I've seen that will never happen.  Even his haters are gonna buy from him again.

Its been like 3-4 weeks now since he bragged that he finally figured out the polishing and was to start shipping them and still no pics of any polished razors in the wild!! The guy literally has no clue and his faithful followers don't either!!

I will not purchase any titanium, but I’m wondering if they will actually ship the day after purchase as he says.

I'm going for one of the Ti razors. If he doesn't ship when he says I'll go for a quick refund. I won't 'be patient' this time.

FWIW ... I don't 'hate' the guy. He is a screw up (politely stated) He bit off more than he could chew with the polished fiasco.

IMHO ... He saw James Dufour's polished razors and thought he'd do the same.

Old saying ... Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. He had the desire, but he didn't develop the skill beforehand.

I can think of a number of avenues he could have taken to make it right to those who had bought the polished razors ... but it is pointless to reiterate them.

I’m curious why you’ll purchase one? Which plate really works for you?

I can think of other razors that shave much better than the Karve I had about a year ago, but the plate I had was OC D. The titanium just hasn’t appealed to me. I do miss the look and feel of brass though.
