About a month ago, going to the Karve site, and seeing he had standard brass and ss razors and parts available I reached out to him and changed my order to SS non polished.
Took about a week and a half (USA) and I had a SS razor + a refund for the difference.
I don't know what the timeline would be other than that. Perhaps drop Karve an email and ask for a time estimate.
If he isn't busy polishing SS razors you might get a reply ...

So a total of 4 months now and not 1 polished razor to show for it. I think its all smoke and mirrors and this guys true colors have emerged fully to this point!! I'm sure he'll use this pandemic as an excuse for not getting them done and then there will be another crisis that will arise with him to delay it even more.... Nothing more than a common thief in my book!!

I converted my order from polished to standard SS and received the razor, and a refund for the difference in price.
If I still was waiting I'd keep an eye on the days ... maybe better to go for a refund based on "didn't receive the item" now.
The way things are going anything can happen ... even razor makers can catch COVID19.

Yeah, it’s bad enough that they haven’t shipped the polished razors (despite being 4-5 months ago and presenting them as if they were ready for shipping... down right deceitful), but then they have the audacity to continue releasing new items like the new top caps (which I think was a terrible idea as it was poorly executed imo) and most recent, preparing for the titanium razor. When I saw Jack presenting the titanium razor on his channel and talking about Karve’s new plans, it feels like a slap in the face to customers who aren’t even getting their “in stock” items... Planning to release that titanium razor when you haven’t even fulfilled your last razors orders (polished version) is completely distasteful! And I can’t imagine how it would feel if I was one of the folks waiting for a razor.... I simply stopped buying from them a while ago and as I mentioned in a previous comment several weeks ago, I haven’t even used my Karve razor... They leave a bad taste in my mouth and I just don’t want to support a company like that.

I get what you're saying. I think too that it's very distasteful for them (and Jack on his channel) to be promoting the new top caps and the titanium razor when they can't deliver on what was promised prior. I think they bite off way more than they can chew. Focus on the task at hand, and once you're caught up, then - and only then - worry about new offerings. Like you said, it's a slap in the face to the customers who are waiting on what's been promised to them.
Having said that, it's a shame not to use your Karve razor, particularly if you enjoy using it. After all, you already supported them by your purchase. For those of us who own them, Karve already got our money. I'm certainly not going to protest the company by refusing to use a product they already profited on. Regardless of my feelings on their business practices, the Karve I own is one of my favorite DE razors to use.
It's not like using it is going to "wear it out" and require me to replace it. Time will tell if I ever buy from them again in a different metal, but I'm sure as hell going to use the one I have.
Up stream I posted that I would never buy from Karve directly again. I have reneged on that statement. 2.5 weeks after ordering, I now have a brass wide body cap. And I must say I really like it. I sincerely hope the folks waiting for polished razors see them soon!
