Switching my Nov 29, 2019 order from polished to regular stainless I finally received my SS Karve on February 19, a couple of weeks ago.
Has anyone received a SS polished yet ?

Might be too little too late but, here's an update from Karve....

It’s no secret that we’ve been working through a backlog and I’m happy to report that the hard work is paying off and we’re close to being caught up.
EXCEPT for the polished razor orders, unfortunately. I’ve been trying to balance polishing them with the rest of the work, but it’s very clear that I need to change my approach.
There are many different tasks in the shop, and to keep things moving forward, I jump from task to task, pretty much all day, every day.
I have a polishing station that I come to when I can, but interruptions are constant. And with all that goes on in a day, it’s easy for a day to go by with very little polishing. And then another. And then another. And then we get to today, and good people are still waiting.
Obviously, that has to change and those polished razors just need to get done.
So, rather than treating polishing as “just another task” in the shop, I’m going to break it out onto its own. When I’m polishing, I’m not doing anything else. And I’ll be doing it in the blocks of a couple of hours at a time.
This will slow the overall pace for the rest of the shop somewhat, but good progress on polishing is long overdue.
For those of you that are waiting for a polished razor, I’m sorry that I didn’t change my approach sooner. And I sincerely apologize for the wait. I never intended for it to take this long.
We have a track record of delivery and I want to assure you these polished razors are no different. Every single one will get completed and will be shipped. No one will get left behind.[/font]

I don't know why but the image of Charlie Chaplin in the factory in the movie Modern Times comes to mind...

I must say I like the man's razors. But ... when I sent a over the top email, telling him that he was "no better than a common thief," he replied that polishing one razor takes about four hours !
Does he know what he is doing ? He has said 'hand polishing' ... what does that mean ? Semichrome and a paper towel ?
While not up to the standard of perfection James Dufour offers, Timeless knocks out polished SS, Ti, Brass all day long for $10 bucks more and they are very nicely done.
Best thing I ever did (not really, but you know what I mean) was change my order from polished to standard SS.

Since its start Karve has been 100% consistent with every razor release.
It always functions on a 3D business model.
Deception - Delays - Disregard
The customer is tricked into believing that what they have paid for is actually available. Then come the months of delays and more delays and more delays. Then there is the zone of disregard and excuses.
When you finally receive what you paid for like a Go Fund Me campaign you will never get the memory of the terrible experience out of your head every time you pick up the razor.
