PAA's aluminum version of the DOC Evolution also has the same color scheme.

All this talk was too much! I just bought a 3” with C & E plates.

Yes I know the aluminum models are coming. If I like the brass, i’ll get the aluminum in an open comb config.

I think I'll head for the stainless steel. As much as I love to tinker I can't get that shine to last on my brass. Polishing is cool when you feel like it.

Tell me, realizing it's tough to compare, but what plate matches or comes close to a timeless 95 gap.?

At least a D plate. I've never used an E so can't say. But I think F is too much. So either a D or E should be closest to a .95 Timeless.

Got a OC D plate it is much efficient and smoother than my C SB plate. C SB was too mild for me.

looks like a rubber insert. That's a great idea.

For me, the F plate feels a lot like the .95 timeless plate. Maybe it’s because the timeless feels very aggressive to me.

It could be bakelite.

Chris made 5 G Plates and they sold out in several minutes. This is the most aggressive plate todate and he might be making more in June if time permits.

Gap 1.36
Postive blade exposure .25
