I received mine, today, with a D and F plate. Nine days from Canada to the UK, including customs and the RM ransom card. The UK fee was £19.61.
Very much looking forward to tomorrow's shave. So many glowing reports, it can't come soon enough.

What is the customs percentage like in the UK. Is it a standard percentage of goods or varies ?

20% VAT is charged on all goods over £15 and includes the shipping cost also in the calculation. Then, Royal Mail takes its cut as a handling fee which is a fixed £8, irrespective of the value of the item.

That is not so bad, thought it would be a lot more than that considering I spent just under £90 for the 3" Handle with C plate plus additional "D" plate, shipped.

I ordered the 3.5" handle with plates B and C. £19 doesn't sound too bad a customs charge really, all things considered.

Had my first complete 3pass shave with the F-plate. This is a very aggressive yet smooth variation. I felt that it was more aggressive than my Charcoalgood L3 and almost as aggressive as the Asylum Rx.

The result of the shave is a perfect BBS with minimal irritation. Tomorrow will go for another 3pass but with the D-plate.

Very nice Alex! Glad to read your thoughts on the F-plate. It's sounds like quite a jump from the D. I will say a month of shaves and the D-plate is my all time favorite razor/shaver. E & F still in Los Angeles!

Yes, I received an email to confirm shipping, but I've seen at least one person say the razor just turned up without any shipping notice beforehand.
