How does plate D compare to a Charcoal Goods Level 1; in comfort, smoothness and efficiency

The Karve D is more efficient than the Charcoal Level 2 and a smoother shave in my use. So the D wouldn’t compare equally to the Level 1. Probably the B plate.

Anyone that ordered on May 10th or after received notice or their razor?  I am trying to wait patiently but I admit patience is not my strong suit.   Smile

Gents, which plate should I order to get a similar mild shave to a Feather AS-D2? I prefer mild razors like Oristo, Razorrock Mamba and Rockwell 6S on plate R2.

Maybe A or B, but I think C would also be comfortable for you being more efficient than the razors you mention. The Karve is incredibly smooth.

I ordered mine on the 10th. I haven't heard anything either. It might depend upon what you ordered. He had a big surge of E and F plate orders.

I don't have the Feather AS-D2, but do have the Rockwell 6C and the Karve with plates B and C. I think the B plate provides a shave slightly closer shave than the Rockwell with plate R3. I will try the C plate tomorrow. The Karve is a very smooth, comfortable shaver.
