Thanks! Put the Canada Post tracking number into the USPS tracking site and ...BOOM...status update on current location in CONUS. Appreciate the assistance.

I've been thinking about getting one of these. I'm not sure which base plate I want though. I use a standard gap Wolfman OC, but I shim it because the standard gap doesn't have quite enough blade feel. I also use an ATT M2, R1, and a Blackbird OC. I am thinking I probably want the C or D plate. Any suggestions?

I would recommend the D Plate I have a wolfman .61 and .74 and I find this razor to be comfortable and still feel the blade. It’s not like an R41

I would also recommend the D plate, but it sounds like you may benefit from the upcoming E or F plates. I guess you could get all three or just wait for the release of the latter two.
Good luck.

Thanks. I don't need a super aggressive razor, so the D will probably be plenty. I just like a little blade feel so I don't use too much pressure. I might get the C as well just to try it.

This is off topic, but since you have the .61 and .74, would the .74 be similar to a .61 with a shim? I've been thinking of getting a more aggressive plate, assuming that's even possible since they're so hard to get, and I'm not sure if the shim is similar to the .67 or .74.

I’ve never tried a shim. I got the .74 because I was looking for something a little more aggressive. The .74 can produce weepers that I don’t have any concerns with on the .61. But if you respect it and pay attention you get great shaves

The C plate is a tad mild and it doesn't have a lot of blade feel. I don't think it would work for you, but for only $30 CDN, it would be worth trying it out.
Good luck.

I am not on any of the ubiquitous social media platforms, except for these shaving forums, so I am not able to offer any information on this. Shy
