So after reading the entire thread, I caved (Karved? Wink) and ordered one with a D plate and an extra F plate. It was a choice between this and the Game Changer, and I loved the look of the Karve ageing over time and the interchangeable plates as the GC seems to lack aggression with the current plate.

I just picked up another 3’ handle C plate (at West Coast Shaving (WCS). $76 delivered for this razor is just amazing.

I have had my original since April, having used every high end DE on the market (except the new RAW) and the Karve (ymmv) is still the finest shaver I’ve ever used. Phenomenal DE.

I would say it's probly the best Bang for the buck but not the best shaver one of the best

That’s why I’m careful to always include YMMV now.

I prefer my Blackbird now for deep efficient shaves but the Karve is wonderful for smooth, quick, weekday out the door shaves. Added an F plate as well.

I agree with both of you. I have so many razors now that there are several in my top 10 and the latest is the Dart which is another amazing buy for the price. Still love the Karve but it is neck and neck with several other razors that I own.

To compliment the brass, brushed and polished stainless hopefully will be available for purchase just before Christmas.

Same here. The Karve has moved to number one. And I would buy an open comb version yesterday!
