Yep, I'm glad to see quality is his top priority.  The time issue is not a problem with me I just think he needs to communicate this to his consumers either on his website or when making the purchase to give the buyer a reasonable expectation.  I never sent him an email (it was 9 days before I got my shipping confirmation) but if it had gotten to two weeks I would of.  It would be good for him and the consumer as I'm sure he gets follow up emails asking about the status of their orders when so much time has passed.  

I did however send an email asking a question (that I still have) the day I made my purchase but that has not been answered yet.

Seems to be what artisans in that area of the country are known for. Great razors but not the best communication. I think with the very reasonable price for a well made razor it’s worth the wait

I agree completely. I think even a notice on the website that orders are running a certain number of days behind would be helpful to many before placing orders. I am patient and don't mind the wait but I think improved communications would be helpful to the company and customer alike.

It would be nice to get some kind of notification on the status of orders.
I placed an order for the E & F plates on 9 May and I have not received any update on its status, other than that it was confirmed.
I had thought that he had the plates in stock and would ship the order within 1 or 2 days of receiving payment.
It isn't a priority for me, but it would be nice to get an update.

I placed my orders (complete razor and E and F plates) on May 7 and 9 and received shipment notification on May 14. Chris was kind enough to combine the orders and he also refunded the second shipping cost.

May 9th (E & F) as well and nothing yet. It’s the most sought after razor in wet shaving right now and he’s obviously struggling to keep up.

I can see why. I found a buyer yesterday for 9 razors in my den. The Karve is a superior shaver than all of them hence the sale. It’s the best DE razor I’ve used in over 20 years at this type shaving. I am certainly contributing to the hype but I can’t come to any other conclusion after a month of amazing Karve shaves.

It's all your fault. Winking Just kidding. When you find something that works it is only natural to tell others. I think he underestimated the demand for the E&F plates and got behind. In time it will get sorted out.

ooooh, that gives me hope. I ordered my 3.5 with C, E, F plates on the 10th. I already have the 3" with D plate. My wife will get to choose the handle and which plate she likes. If I don't like what's left, I'll order more! I love this razor. Once we get this sorted out, I'm selling stuff. Seriously, this is the first time in four years of wet shaving that I thought I was done. Yes, I think I'm done. I found my razor. All my other razors were dethroned by my ATT H2 and my Rockwell 6S. My Karve (thanks to all the different plates) will now replace everything.

My one razor, forever and ever...............until I change my mind.
