I just happened to be poking around on the website and noticed this notice. The lead times have gone from 4 to 8 weeks. He does mention in the notice that there are shop improvements coming online to cut this time down come January. Quality remains his top priority and those of us that have waited for razors and dealt with the unfortunate difficulty in communication, know this is true. When my order arrived it was 100% correct and craftsmanship was spot on. Let's hope communication is addressed in these upcoming improvements.

*This post is here for information purposes and by no means to bash Chris/Karve razors. I am hopeful and would love to see more Karve availablity personally.*

Christ is many things, but the good is he is about.

1. Safe shop.

2. Quality, no blend or seconds leave shop. They go into recycle bin.

3. As I met him he is honest to the point of honesty say he is bad at communication.

4. If you want a Karve, it’s going to be await, just how things are at karve.

BUSINESS IS TO GOOD. Good price born to have.

I agree. I have never met him but when he did communicate, we worked the details out I needed. I did see a video clip that he NEVER sells or lets seconds leave the shop. I like him and I love his products. Even without the communication issues, the wait time is sometimes a deterrent. I understand it and appreciate the reasons for it, but it does make me pause. But, again, when you do get it, it is top notch.

+1 Fully agree with this. World class products, third world communication status in terms of customer service support which has been documented throughout this forum and others across the web. No need to rehash anymore of it here. Personally, he was a true gentleman over the times I've chatted & dealt with him with timely deluvery of products that I purchased. And I will say this, if he can figure out how to work with Titanium to produce a razor, watch out because I believe it would be a top 3 performer in all of shave land. The Brass & Copper that I own are exceptionally smooth and efficient shavers. In Ti, it would be a game changer for many, myself included.

Karves CB Copper with its C/D SB plates are top 3 shaving preferences for me, just sublime and long lasting with nary a sign of irritation. So where does one go from here... Karve CB in SS or the Oliblade M3teorite 3 plates is worth trying even if one has the Oliblade adjustable.. Thoughts?

Well the OliWorks is on SALE. 25% Off.

You got 30 Days to return if you dislike.?

So it’s like a time to Test Shave, if you return you out return postage.

Most who bought Metorite love, some did not. But they returned for Refund.

Sounds like opportunity to buy, try, and if it not to like your only out return postage.
