I’m wanting a OC cause I don’t have one. So should I get the aluminum ATT M2 or the Karve B OC. I’m open to other suggestions. The razors I use the most are 34c, Gillette flair tip. I got the .68 GC used it one time with a feather any it was a little too much. Thanks for any help in advance.

I have the stainless steel M2 and a Karve F OC. The razors are designed differently, so it depends on what you like. The ATT is more of a blade forward razor with a small gap. The Karve will have a larger gap, but very little to no blade feel. The lowest Karve I’ve tried is the D SB and I couldn’t really feel the blade, so I would assume the B OC has less blade feel, but that’s just speculation.

Haven't tried either of those razors, but I would choose the Karve B OC from those options.  I recommend getting the Merkur 41c since it is similar to your Merkur 34c, except a touch milder.

Is the 34c milder than the 41c?

The 41c is milder than the 34c.

Is the gillette new long comb more aggressive than a 34c?

By a very wide margin IMO.

I've tried all the ATT razors with the exception of the new Windsor series. I haven't tried the Karve razors at all, but there are those here that love them. Karve might be more bang for the buck and I haven't heard a negative thing about them.

Definitely give your gamechanger another few shaves before you form any opinions on it. It truly is an excellent daily shaver. Perhaps, try 2 passes instead of 3 to prevent irritation from building up.

I agree with this. It took me some time to get used to the heavier weight when I switched from my Merkur to stainless steel razors. You might be using too much pressure and not realize it. Also, still look into getting an OC. It’s nice to have some variety.
