Thanks

I've used the Kai Captain Titan mild blades and I do enjoy them about as much as the Feather Pro's.
The Kai dispenser is a much better design as I've had a Feather Pro dispenser stick and no longer expel blades.
Kai blades are great but I've never tried this particular one (or even seen it before) so I can't help you much there.

For my King Cobra and ATT SE1 I like the Kai Captain Tital Mild and Feather Pro blades. They both have about the same feel but the Kai are like the Feather blade with a shave or two on it. Just a slight bit milder for me and very comfortable. Both are way sharper than any de blade you've experienced so expect to see in two passes with this blade what you'd normally take three to get with a de blade.

Back to the blades you ask about... these might be older blades, newer blades, something only offered in a specific area, or something that was never actually offered by Kai.

These don't seem to be available from any of the shaving supply stores and aren't on the Kai website so I'd personally skip them for that reason and opt for other blades that are currently available on the Kai site.

You may want to try an assortment from tryablade and then buy packs of the ones you really like. I get 20 plus shaves from one of these blades so a pack of 20 for me can last 400 shaves. You're not going to want over a years worth of blades that you don't like sitting around, and that's just one pack.

I was hoping it was new. I already did the try a blade. The titan mild and the original in my ATT SE1. They both felt like shaving with tin can. I literally did one stroke and said nope.

Have you spent a lot of time shaving with the SE1? Often times people seem to blame the blade when it's their technique that's the real problem. A new razor takes some getting used to, sometimes even for an experienced shaver.

With de razors you'll find people that are new don't seem to like the sharper blades and favor the milder ones because they are more forgiving of bad technique. Experienced shavers with better technique sometimes prefer a sharper blade as they require less touch up and tend to give a closer shave with less effort.

With these Feather Pro style SE blades they are all sharp and can be very unforgiving of poor technique. Like the ATT the King Cobra will punish you severely for a bad angle or too much pressure.

I don't do this myself but you can try corking the blade when you're new to the razor. Pulling the blade edge through a wine cork will dull it a bit and make it a bit more forgiving for you at first. Kinda like starting with a blade that already has a few shaves on it.

I have the Kai Captain and the Kai Mild.

They are both pretty similar to me. I prefer the Feather Pro.

I have not heard of the DL before or seen it before.

I got the regular Kai Captain off Amazon about a month and a half ago. I saw Bullgoose is selling them now.

There's a blade from Canada I've seen somewhere online brand name Kamisori. I have seen people argue about them whether they are talking about a Japanese razor with a straight handle or an artist club blade. I've seen them on more than one occasion online and they are a brand of artist club blade. I never ordered them because they were very expensive.

There is a guy on eBay selling cases of Kai and Feather blades. Along with tons of other various stuff from Japan. In his listings he says he'll buy anything Japanese you want and will ship it to you. Maybe seek him out and see what happens? If they're out there it may be as easy as him walking into a store and picking them up for you and mailing them.
Shave yourself.

Maybe try them again in the King Cobra, just resist the urge to apply more pressure. The blades don't stick out of the razor as much as the Pro Super blades to they are going to feel a bit different.

I'd say to give them a try in the ATT again but that's already gone so maybe just give the King Cobra a slower shave with them and see if they work for you. The Pro Super blades seem to be popular in the Mongoose razor to make it more aggressive but the King Cobra is already more aggressive than the Mongoose so I suspect the Super blades won't be needed here.

I wouldn't go out an buy a ton of blades to try. Most guys seem to prefer the Feather Pro blades in the King Cobra.

Lol someone noticed I just bought a king cobra. Lol. I did notice that the supers are too wide to fit the base plate correctly. Corners are on the bumb on the comb part.

Probably the same as the Kai Captain Mild blades then (I'm just guessing). They may have changed the packaging after the Kia Captain razor was released. Because he doesn't really know I'd still pass unless they were dirt cheap.
