I love Kai Blades. I use a little trick a good friend share with me. Prior to my first use, I run each side through a piece of wine cork. It removes any leftover metal shavings and smoothies the blade without sacrificing shave quality. Just a little tip that works for me, so I figure I share it :-)

lol.. I used to do that with Feathers, when I first started with a DE....
KAI Blades are excellent and, for me at least, nearly as sharp as Feathers without that notorious Feather bite. For the price though, I'd rather go with PolSilvers, Silver Blues or Rapira Platinum Lux blades. For me, all 3 outperform the KAI by the slightest of margins and are priced a little more down to earth (because we all got into wet shaving to save $$ )...
