Kai blades are my favorite and all I use anymore. I use them in a DE89 and Ikon 101.

My favorite blade by far. They can be had for lower prices on Connaught and eBay.

Fantastic performance at a regrettable cost...While I enjoyed my 5-count sample, the cost is prohibitive to me when I can get comparable performance at significantly cheaper price point.

I love Kai Blades. I use a little trick a good friend share with me. Prior to my first use, I run each side through a piece of wine cork. It removes any leftover metal shavings and smoothies the blade without sacrificing shave quality. Just a little tip that works for me, so I figure I share it :-)

I pretty much use this with every blade brand I use, including SE blades.

KAI Blades are excellent and, for me at least, nearly as sharp as Feathers without that notorious Feather bite. For the price though, I'd rather go with PolSilvers, Silver Blues or Rapira Platinum Lux blades. For me, all 3 outperform the KAI by the slightest of margins and are priced a little more down to earth (because we all got into wet shaving to save $$ Big Grin)...

I've tried both Feather and Kai. Ya their sharp but? If I had to use one I'd pick Kai. However, I find the 7'Oclock Yellow maybe (or almost) as sharp and they seem to have more legs

Polsilver was my favorite, especially in my DE89 but now I have to say the KAI are also my favorite. They seem to be a bit sharper and last a bit longer. Maybe it's me but the KAI seem to be a bit thicker than normal de blades. May be that's why they last longer than the Polsilver.
