I was in the Marine Corps stationed in Yuma AZ, and there were these burrowing owls there ...
I was walking along and had my film camera in the days before digital.
I saw an owl in the daytime, perched on the top of a building. I raised my camea, zoomed and focused, and took the pic. When I lowered the camera, he was gone.
It took another few days to use up that roll of film, and then another few days to get it processed and printed (do the younger folks even know what I'm talking about???)
Anyway - when I got the prints back - this is what I captured.
I thought that was cool - a mockingbird attacking the owl.
