I had one of his Odin's Edge models in a San Mai pattern with W2 core, and found it to be a very well-made razor. My preferences go towards a bit milder steel, unfortunately, so it has been passed along to a new home! Joe is wonderful, though, I'll probably pick up another one in a quarter hollow or near wedge from him eventually!

I was looking over his razors and was curious, as to what the Odins Edge meant.

Yes sir Smile

It was very interesting.
I was standing in the waiting list on a Joe Edson custom straight razor. My turn had come in June, but I was lucky to win the charity auction. Smile

Now I'm on the waiting list on a custom straight razor from Tim Zowada.

This one was mine.

The Odin's Edge is Joe's play on the MK series razors by CV Heljestrand, and is probably what you will see most of on his customs page. Very ergonomic design.

I'm glad you gave in Oli! You don't know how many times I added that razor to the cart lol. The only thing that kept me from pulling the trigger is that I want to get a 7/8ths razor next.

Beautiful photos. How does it shave?

That Maestro Livi Kamisori that he has listed under his vintage razors keeps staring at me too lol
