I always send out a newsletter the last day of every month to keep folks up to date on how the product development process is coming along. Stoked to hear that folks are as passionate about the toggle like I am. I have MAD RESPECT for the engineers & machinists & assemblers who built the vintage toggle razor back in the day. They were wicked smart. They put mass customization in a razor before mass customization was a even business concept in Business School text books. They didn’t have 3D CAD and 3D printing to help them get stuff right before cutting metal. Truth be told, the vintage toggle is an incredible chassis to do a modern interpretation on. The Janus Razor design has 36 pcs. Of course, some of those pieces are off the shelf parts like springs and such.
Yeah, and they did it all with slide rules and log tables.
By the way, that's why old engineers never suffered from constipation. They could always work it out with a slide rule. Try that with a calculator!
