Quick...someone call in a welfare check on Frankie as I suspect someone has kidnapped him and hijacked his DFS account. A 2 sentence review? Something is amiss.

He is in NY, I doubt they are allowed to visit church. Perhaps he is LOOTing and pillaging in the city. That is certainly allowed, Kung Flu or not. Pfft....church, that is really funny.

It seems odd to me that an adjustable razor has a gap of 0.8 at a setting of 1.  Doesn't make any sense at all.  That's a typical gap for a moderately aggressive razor.  That gap would be good for, say, setting 5 or something.

But I really think there is more going on than just the gap.  Posted this on another forum, but with users now finding it more comfortable opened up wide, I suspect that the geometry of the razor makes it so that blade EXPOSURE is highest in the mid-settings, making them uncomfortably blade-forward, but less on low, and especially on high, settings.

I am hopeful that somebody with some photography skills can perhaps post some side-on views of the blade-loaded razor at various settings (ideally 1, 5, and 9) so we can see what exposure looks like at each of those settings.

I check with feeler gauge.
Mine has around:
0.8mm at #1
1.0mm at #5
1.2mm at #9

I find that gap alone is not telling enough, curvature of the blade and exposure greatly affect the feel, there are razors with massive gaps that feel smooth and mild, my theory is that with the gap opened up on this razor the blade may be more curved and pull back the blade exposure. I haven’t tried past 5 yet, tomorrow will be the day to try on 9

We are having outdoor services with limited numbers and distancing, masks too, not today though.  No more handshakes or hugs, no more collection plate handed around.  Our church is also broadcasting via internet and we are having Zoom Sunday School classes.  This morning we were going to a drive through Communion Service but it has been delayed due to the tropical storm bearing down on us.  Wife and I are putting on ponchos to go down to the waterline, which is probably over the south lane of Beach Boulevard by now.  Tropical storms are fun, we stick around for up to cat 2 and bug out for cat 3 and up.  Hope the weather is good for y'all in other parts of the globe.

So my assumption appears to be wrong, I’m no photographer but settings 1,5, and 9[Image: 59526cbe70818187bd1390f6a9109ea0.jpg]
