Found in the wild today, a Gillette Made in Canada Old Type, with a ball-end handle, for CAD$10.

The teeth were straight and the handle wasn't split, so I gave it a forever home. I mean, just look at the poor thing:

After 20 minutes work with Brasso followed by dish detergent on a toothbrush, it came out pretty nice, for a ~100 year old razor.
A few minor dings for character, where they don't matter.
There are still few spots on the cap and base plate that look like it was worn down to copper or something. More like an old penny color. *google-google-google* Maybe that's "red brass", with a higher copper content, and plated with yellow brass.

The guy also had a Schick injector in a nice brown bakelite case, but I think it was a Type E, which I do not care for.
Something like 5 or 6 Rolls Razor kits too, but I wasn't interested.

Is that colour what they call "Tan"? It's rather nice. Looks even better than the photo on the Henson site.

I have the middle one. It's my favourite handle ever.
Oops - the badger has a lettering issue?

Yes it is. I like it. It looks more of a bronze  to me.
