On the way ......

I've always wanted a maze handle from charcoal goods and today I got a brand spankin new one along with some other goodies

I picked up a few vintage Gillette Platinum Plus blades. It has been a long time since I have used any of them, and I thought I'd do an informal comparison of them to my Personna 74 Tungstens, Gillette Swedes, and Wilkinson Light Brigades, just out of curiosity.

Another Gibbs mod, long (85mm) brass handle courtesy Claudio in South Africa. Weight 101.4g, balance spot on. By way of comparison, twhite Gibbs is 92.2g, Rex Ambassador 100g.
