L1 or L2?

The L2 base plate. This is a remarkable GEM razor. I have 5 vintage GEMs, but they're all going to eBay now! I might return it and get the polished model.

Charcoal Goods lvl 3 SB Base Plate in Antique finish. I have a Charcoal Goods lvl 2 SB and OC and I love them. I get very nice smooth shaves with both of them. I’m hoping the lvl 3 will be just as smooth with just a little more efficiency.
Can’t wait to hear feedback on the level 3. I recently got a level 2 and I think it is the smoothest/closest razor I’ve ever used

Mail Call:- Today I received two GEM Micromatic Open Comb [Image: m0126.gif] also the Clog-Pruf should arrived at my front door hopefully this Friday according to the postage tracking details.

I'm going to put the GEM Micromatic Open Comb on hold first, because I wanted to start using the GEM Micromatic Clog-Pruf to work my way up the aggressive shave feel since I enjoy the experience of the Bullet Tip [Image: t2027.gif]

Mail Call:- Three package arrived today and I'm looking forward to used the GEM Micromatic Clog-Pruf after my last shave tomorrow with the Bullet Tip, not quite happy about the PAA Starling SE because there's a small error when loading the bloody GEM blade. I'll so see how this shave using the blue and yellow plate soon, because I'm desperate to used the GEM Micromatic Clog-Pruf.
