Thanks, Mark. For quite a while I had limited myself to having just Rooney Finests, but then I tried one of the newer Shavemac 2-bands, and I was so impressed that I decided to buy a couple. That "couple" became half a dozen, and I thought that I had enough of them, but then I saw this Americana and just couldn't resist it getting it. I have had other Shavemacs in the past, including D01 2-bands, and these newer generation 2-band knots are, for me anyway, a definite step up in overall quality.

I'm in the same boat. These are great knots. Lately, I had Rudy Vey make me a few brushes with these knots.
