Mongoose makes a very pleasant Alumigoose. Lightweight, and a relatively mild shave.

This is a great option also, but he didn't state what he wanted to spend.  If $$$ is no object he has A LOT of great options.

I like the weight of my EJ razor, but the chrome is already showing signs of wear, and I gather that once the chrome wears through the zinc alloy underneath goes pretty quickly. I've tried an iKon 102 (Bulldog handle) & found it way too heavy. Thinking of trying a Maggard MR1 handle, as that seems to be the lightest steel handle around. Are ZAMAK, steel, and plastic it as far as inexpensive materials are concerned?

This is a cheap option, but just be aware that they have QC issues.

Have you considered a 1940's Super Speed. They are pretty lite in weight, durable and give a real nice non-aggressive shave. Also they are very affordable (you know where).

I have the Razorock Baby Smooth and Stealth.

Both are aluminum and shave great. However, both are also anodized black, though mine hasn't shown any wear yet--the anodization will eventually wear out.

I read that Mongoose has a prototype razor that is all titanium. At least that is what I think I read on their facebook page.
