I like that look too with the ingredients around the edge. I think you should start listing the base at the start of the ingredients list for identification and cataloging purposes.

Good point, but it does begin with “Fortis Formula”.

This soap base is just as good and lathers just as well as his other bases. If this is really going to be $15 for 5 ounces then Mo is offering an incredible deal with this one!
I have a sample waiting at my office when I get there tomorrow. I am hearing amazing things about this new “budget” base and I really can’t wait to try it! Love the pics of the lather!

I have shaved the past three mornings with a sample of unscented Fortis. It is an excellent soap that lathers easily and once dialed in with generous water, is very slick. I have also done 12-13 test lathers and seen very little depletion. It will be an awesome deal at 5 ounces at $15. I can’t wait to see what scents it will be released with.
I'm two shaves in on the Fortis sample that Mohammad sent me (1.31). The first shave was so over-the-top good that it seemed smarter to get a second shave in before posting. In both cases, my skin felt (feels ) like I never even shaved. Both shaves were done with only comfortably hot water for pre, and nothing but a fragrance to finish. There was no need for an astringent, antiseptic, or any sort of skin food afterwards. The protection, slickness, and ghost lather are all that good. I know there are other great soaps, but the thing that takes me aback is the price. Fortis will retail at $15 for a 5 ounce jar!
I plan to follow the lead of another Fortis tester primotenore , get a little growth on, and shave with a Muhle R41. Primotenore used a 2011 model, whereas I will be using the 2013 version. The 2011 is a bigger beast, but I still think that straight razors aside, the 2013 R41 is an acid test of sorts. I'll let you know how it works out.

My fourth shave in with the Fortis Sample 1.31 that Mohammad scent. Every shave has been wonderful. The soap is very easy to load and lather. What has impressed me most is the slickness and post shave feel. I wet my face between passes and the soap had enough residual slickness for me to do a complete pass. Fortis post shave feel is really superb. If this is a budget soap base, sign me up.
