To follow up, I received an E 2 purchased from Ebay today and spent about 30 minutes cleaning it up. Here are two "before" and two "after" pics. Next step is to buy some injector blades and shave.[Image: 1d9823f59876cb816bb46341d4278458.jpg][Image: 92b37eb399058015b32f88af5cad6e4c.jpg][Image: 56744ff032b435ec9e72b47d54f69295.jpg][Image: 39a15f19098b634cc0d5aed48b5efe12.jpg]

That is one fantastic clean up! Let us know how you like the shave from it.

I will. Couldn't find blades locally, so I ordered some from Amazon. They should be delivered Monday or Tuesday.

As a further follow up, my Amazon-ordered Schick injector blades arrived and I shaved off a 2-day growth (I only do one-pass shaves).  Very maneuverable, due to blade size and small profile of the razor, and smooth/mild.  Not aggressive and no audible feedback, but a great shave and result, nonetheless.  Given that it was an E 2, it was simple to remove, clean and dry, and replace the blade.  I'll definitely be keeping this in my rotation.

A $30 Aluminum Razorock Hawk would be an inexpensive way to get started with AC razors.
