As a further follow up, my Amazon-ordered Schick injector blades arrived and I shaved off a 2-day growth (I only do one-pass shaves). Very maneuverable, due to blade size and small profile of the razor, and smooth/mild. Not aggressive and no audible feedback, but a great shave and result, nonetheless. Given that it was an E 2, it was simple to remove, clean and dry, and replace the blade. I'll definitely be keeping this in my rotation.

On my schick i just use an old toothbrush to brush it off and then wash it off dry it and i have a little spray bottle of alxohol i spray it with then let dryA $30 Aluminum Razorock Hawk would be an inexpensive way to get started with AC razors.
