Is there any ingredients in shave soap that irritates your skin?

Im not sure what it might be, but certain soaps leave my skin with a burning/stinging. This seems to happen with razorock and Stirling soaps....

Cinnamon. Cinnamon and red hot magma. Oh wait. Those are the same thing for me.

Whatever the hell was in Tiki Land Locked. It felt like rubbing a fresh cut jalapeno pepper all over my face. That is the only soap that has caused me any irritation at all. EVER lol.

I have to buy unscented soaps. Every time I try something scented it starts to irritate my skin after 2 or 3 days.

I have had some unscented soaps and the carrier oils have given me some mild reactions. I also sometimes get a mild reaction from cinnamal.

Lanolin???

Cant be, because i use so many different soaps with lanolin with no issues.
However, stirling and razorock seem to burn my skin.

Weird, and i wish i could use them because i love their scents.

There was something in Stirling's Sharp Dressed Man that made parts of my face really burn. I never figured it out but have had no issues with any other Stirling soap, nor any other soap I've tried for that matter.

Witch hazel, which is put in a lot of aftershaves, isn't comfortable for me. A lot of guys have good luck with it, though I'm not one of them.
